  1.

A lot of broken links, and cramped or distorted fields.

  2.

I find it curious that I am the only one commenting in this post as it seems this link is one of the very few that is working.

  3.

Doug, no one else seems to be experiencing any issues. Can you provide me with a link that is not working? Maybe try clearing your browser cache.

  4.

    Hi David:
Yeh, it’s all the “Recent Site Blog Posts” They all have broken links. I thought it may have been my browser, but all browsers are the same.

Where did Steve go? Did you buy him out or something?
    Doug

I can’t access any of the blog posts.

In particular, I can’t access any link of the form http://.hockeyanalysis.com

    Error message:

    “Address Not Found

Iceweasel can’t find the server at senators.hockeyanalysis.com.

The browser could not find the host server for the provided address.

    * Did you make a mistake when typing the domain? (e.g. “ww.mozilla.org” instead of “www.mozilla.org”)
    * Are you certain this domain address exists? Its registration may have expired.
    * Are you unable to browse other sites? Check your network connection and DNS server settings.
    * Is your computer or network protected by a firewall or proxy? Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.”

  6.

sorry, in the previous message, any link of the form http://myteam.hockeyanalysis.com

  7.

I can’t access any blog posts either. Though I composed and saved one.

  8.

Sorry guys, I updated something an hour or so ago that caused an error in the scripts that resulted in not being able to access the blogs. It should work now.

  9.

Doug, Bob, I don’t have any of those problems so this is quite odd. When I click on the Recent Site Blog Posts it works fine. Can you try to ping http://www.hockeyanalysis.com and let me know what ip address you get. Also ping senators.hockeyanalysis.com and see if you get the same ip address.

    Doug, Steve who?

David: I’m only having problems with “Recent Site Blog Posts” This the error message I’m getting. Address Not Found
Firefox can’t find the server at coyotes.hockeyanalysis.com.

Incorrect settings can interfere with Web browsing.

Or with Google’s browser it says the “Oops Link seems to be broken can’t find the server”. I’m not having any difficulty with any other web sites.

    David: PING senators.hockeyanalysis.com (66.199.140.41) 56(84)

all PING requests sent out are returned.

    also, when I ping http://www.hockeyanalysis.com I get
    PING http://www.hockeyanalysis.com (66.199.140.41)

all PING requests sent are also returned.

    Strange!

Hrm. Have you looked into your apache config file, in particular the virtual hosting? This seems like it might be a problem. Are you testing from an IP outside the network? If you’re using IIS, then may God help you.

  13.

What is odd about this is that the links work for me and it seems almost everyone else. I’ll look into it more but I am stumped. The server is using apache on Linux.

  14.

Can you let me know if it works OK now? I think I have found a temporary solution so if it is working now I’ll see if I can find a better permanent solution.

  15.

Actually, on second thought it may not work for you but let me know either way.

  16.

Bob, Doug, can you give me the ip address if your DNS servers. It seems that some DNS servers may not be updated correctly.

  17.

Hi David, still no joy for me. My DNS is on our network, so it’s a local IP. Bummer for me I guess. Keep it up though, love the site.

  18.

My only problem so far has been uploading pictures to the server for postings. It’s not an urgent problem as I have a fairly large library to draw from at this point, but in the longer term it might pose me some problems.

  19.

My DNS settings are on automatic and aren’t listed. Still the links are broken to me. I even reprogrammed my computer, still no luck. No problems on any other web site. “I donno.”
