NHL Game Predictions – 4/6/2006

Eastern Conference Big Game of the Night: Atlanta at Tampa. Tampa pretty much eliminated Florida’s chances by winning on Monday. Tonight they hope to do the same to Atlanta. An Atlanta win keeps their slim playoff chances alive. These teams play one more game next Tuesday and both these games are must wins for Atlanta.

Western Conference Big Game of the Night: San Jose at Los Angeles: Los Angeles sits 2 points behind 8th place San Jose and 3 behind 7th place Edmonton. They need this win to keep them in the hunt because they also have fewer games left on the schedule. I am actually going to disagree with my algorithm and say San Jose will win this game.

  1. mr.hockey I my pool onchicago and col….lol another bites the dust…

    and s.j

  2. Mike L. Im hoping 11/12 pays out on this Proline Pools. Could very likely. I mean 4/8 were upsets last night. Someone would have to get perfect last night, boxing games or whatnot, plus be perfect tonight…depending on what happens tonight Im hoping for a 11/12 payout. Ironic cuz i was going to take Chicago over Nashville cuz Nashville sux on the road but than I thought I had too many upsets and I was scared Chicago would ruin my ticket. Funny, Nashville ruined my ticket. Just how it goes I guess.

    Tonights Predictions:

    -NY Rangers
    -Tampa Bay
    -San Jose

  3. David. I expected your system to pick most teams who played last night to lose tongiht…but Im suprised your algo picked Ottawa over Montreal. I agree with the pick, but I mean Ottawa lost last night, montreals on a nice winning streak and Ottawa is playing back to back. What made your system pick an “upset” as you say?
